In 1999, Oriental Yuhong waterproof system was taken as a standard system for the construction of China Cotton and Grain Depot, and the company undertook 60% of waterproof engineering task.

In October 2000, the company reformed and Beijing Oriental Yuhong Waterproof Technology Co., Ltd. was founded with total stock of 27.425 million yuan.

In December 2002, Oriental Yuhong was certified as Beijing Hi-tech Enterprise by Beijing Municipal Science & Technology Commission, since when its image of profession was set up and its industrial influence started to emerge.

In July 2003, the company overcame the adverse impact of SARS. The production line imported from US R&D Company was completed and put into production on schedule and meanwhile China Building Waterproof Museum (globally unique) was built up where we can have an overview of advanced waterproof technologies at all times and in all over the world. In the same year, Li Weiguo, enterprise legal person, was elected into the list of Top Ten Youth Entrepreneurs in Beijing and accepted an interview in Oriental Horizon in CCTV to tell his story of success full of hardships.
