In 2004, Oriental Yuhong became one of the first exemption enterprises for waterproof products approved by the General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine of PRC. In the same year, Oriental Yuhong Waterproof Material Testing Co., Ltd. obtained the qualification in testing waterproof material performance with the authentication of CNACL.

In February, May, June and August 2005 and February 2006, the company won the contract for labor and materials successively in the waterproof projects for Capital Airport, the Water Cube, the Bird’s Nest, New CCTV, Olympic Village, and Olympic Rowing-Canoeing Park, through which it made new contribution to “New Beijing and New Olympics”. Oriental Yuhong developed to be a leading enterprise in industry.

On September 10, 2008, Oriental Yuhong (002271) went public officially in Shenzhen Stock Exchange, which opened a new historical chapter of China building waterproof industry. In the same year, Oriental Yuhong was awarded National Advanced Construction Enterprise in Scientific and Technological Progress and Technological Innovation. The president Li Weiguo was elected as a member of the 11th CPPCC Beijing Municipal Committee.
